I dont quite understand

I don't quite understand why some parents try to make their child decide between them and the child's friend if most of the time by doing that they push their children more towards deciding for their friends rather then them.

I don't quite get why some parents are so against their kids being gay or lesbian or even bisexual if your teen is willing to admit it and except it , shouldn't you be willing to give them a chance? Although I get it you may want to have a grand child but hey, parents are suppose to be there to love and care and help their children against the hard times.so quit the agony and just give them a hug and say " you know what I love you and always will, ill always be here for you if you need me."

I don't quite get when parents say they understand teens. to be honest  , sorry to tell you this parents of this generation but there are many things that have changed from your times to these . Here are two basic facts, many teens are bullied in many different ways, and many teens are becoming more and more advanced when it comes to sites and technology.  Also if you think about it the reason its so hard for teens to trust parents these days is because , well admit it sometimes parents tend to be over protective and make a big deal out of nothing, or exactly the opposite some parents seem to not care .Believe me I get that your just looking out for your teens the best you can ,but hey they're going to have to make their own mistakes to learn from them , but they're also going to need someone there to help them out. but in some cases your going to have to be patient because it's like one lady I just met said " people will tell you ,and tell you from their life experience's but the the truth is that it'll come in through one ear and out the other until that person experiences it." But try not to be too hard on teens because they just wanna have fun and live to the fullest but there should still be a little boundaries, but hey still keep in mind that if they mess up  you never really know what they are going through because be honest with yourself if your a parent that you never told your parents everything be it bad or good we keep secrets.


I don't quite understand why teens are so against their parents being apart of their life , because first of all your parents are there to help you out and make things easier and secondly you can always tell them anything because the chances are that they've gone through it , but i know i know they might not completely understand but you should at least try n if all fails well then tell them to forget it , and parents like i said before try to be helpful and not get mad because they are at least trying .
